Sachesi (recommended)
- Download Sachesi latest release.
- Run Sachesi; connect Q10 via USB.
- Use "Package Manager" → "Install" or "Bar Files" to load .bar or autoloader.
- Follow on-screen prompts; wait until completion.

Autoloader (if available)
- Obtain autoloader .exe specific to Q10 variant.
- Boot phone into fastboot/bootloader as instructed.
- Run autoloader on PC and follow prompts.

Sideload with .bar (advanced)
- Use Blackberry 10 development tools (e.g., blackberry-deploy) to sideload BAR packages.
- Requires developer mode enabled on device.
⚠️ Security warning:
- Do not download from random file-upload sites (mediafire, mega, zippyshare) unless verified by community hashes.
- Do not pay for flash files – they are freely available.
- Many "flash file" websites inject malware into autoloaders. Check SHA-256 hashes against known good values (CrackBerry threads often list them).
Step 5: Monitor the Flashing Process
- As soon as the PC detects the white LED, the Command Prompt will change.
- You will see lines like:
- Finding device... - Connected to MSM8960. - Sending SBL... - Flashing partition 1 of 36... - Crucial: Do not touch the cable. Do not close the window. The process takes 15-20 minutes.
Step 3: Run the Autoloader as Administrator
- Right-click the
.exeflash file →Run as Administrator. - A command prompt window will open. It will say "Waiting for device..."

Step 5: The Flashing Process
- The autoloader will immediately detect the device.
- You will see scrolling text showing "Sending splash..." then "Flashing OS..."
- Do not disconnect the USB cable. Do not close the command window.
- The process takes 5–10 minutes.
- When finished, you will see:
"Operation Complete. Device will now reboot."
Important: How to flash (basic steps)
- Backup your data (autoloader wipes everything).
- Charge battery to at least 70%.
- Extract the autoloader
.exe(no installation needed). - Turn off your Q10 completely.
- Hold the Volume Down key (or sometimes Volume Up + Down together – varies) and connect USB to PC.
- Release keys when you see a black screen with a white battery icon – then wait 3-5 seconds.
- Run the autoloader
.exeas Administrator. - Wait 10–20 minutes. Do not disconnect. The phone will reboot automatically.
