Let’s be real: The survival genre is flooded (pun intended) with generic crafting sims. Chop tree, make axe, eat berry, repeat. So when a little indie title called Parched started making waves on the Steam Next Fest forums, I rolled my eyes. Another one?
I was wrong.

Before you download, make sure your rig can handle the heat map rendering:

Every day at 12 PM local time, a special event called "The Drought" appears. You have 60 seconds to make a single drink using mystery ingredients. Even if you fail, you get a "Pity Sip" reward of 10 Aqua Coins. Never skip it.
Parched is not a relaxing game. It is a stressful, sweaty, palm-sweating simulator that makes you appreciate every glass of tap water you’ve ever wasted.
