Bollywood songs are hard to translate. But the Indonesian dubbing team did something smart. Instead of dubbing the singing, they kept the original Hindi vocals but dubbed the “bridge” dialogues between the verses.
Take the song Haule Haule. In Hindi, it means “Slowly Slowly.” The Indonesian transition keeps the spirit of “Perlahan-lahan”—building a relationship step by step. Because Indonesian culture also values slow, respectful courtship (even inside marriage), the message of the song becomes stronger in translation.
