1. Download: Download the LineageOS 19.1 ROM and the GApps zip file (ensure it matches Android 12/12L). Transfer both to your device or keep them on your PC for sideloading.
2. Boot to Recovery:
   • Connect device to PC via USB.
   • Run command: adb reboot recovery
3. Wipe Data:
   • In recovery, select "Wipe Data/Factory Reset".
   • Select "Format Data" (this is necessary to remove encryption if coming from a different ROM).
4. Install LineageOS:
   • Select "Apply Update" -> "Apply from ADB".
   • On PC, run: adb sideload lineage-19.1-xxxxx.zip
5. Install GApps (The Critical Step):
   • Do not reboot yet. Rebooting before installing GApps will cause the ROM to "finalize" without Google Play Services, making it very difficult to install them later.
   • Go back to the main menu in Recovery.
   • Select "Apply Update" -> "Apply from ADB" again.
   • On PC, run: adb sideload NikGapps-xxxx-android12.zip (or your chosen file).
   • Note: The sideload might report "47% total failure" or "Signature verification failed" on the screen. This is normal for GApps; as long as the ADB terminal on the PC says "Success," the installation proceeded.
6. Reboot:
   • Select "Reboot system now".
   • The first boot will take significantly longer than usual (this is normal).
