What is a WBFS file?

6. Loading Just Dance 2023

  1. Launch USB Loader from Homebrew Channel or via a loader-specific boot method.
  2. Locate Just Dance 2023 in the game list.
  3. Select and launch:
    • If prompted, choose appropriate IOS/DI settings recommended by the loader.
    • Apply any loader-specific patches (video, patch for controller compatibility) as needed.

How the Modding Community Does It:

  1. Rip Just Dance 2020: Start with a clean WBFS of JD2020.
  2. Extract the Files: Use tools like WiiScrubber or WitGui to unpack the WBFS into ISO folders.
  3. Replace Audio/Video: Swap the .mp3 tracks and .moflex video files for 2023 songs.
  4. Update the Database: Edit the songlist.ckd file (a proprietary Ubisoft database) to rename titles and add new choreographies.
  5. Repack to WBFS: Rebuild the ISO and convert it back to WBFS for USB loading.

Warning: This requires advanced Python scripting, hex editing, and knowledge of Just Dance’s internal format. There is no automated "JD2023 Converter" for the Wii.
