As Kristina looks to the future, she remains committed to her vision of creating authentic, entertaining, and informative content that resonates with Lithuanian audiences. With the rapid growth of digital platforms and social media, she sees new opportunities for Lithuanian creators to reach global audiences and share their stories with the world.
"I believe that our stories, our culture, and our language have the power to inspire and connect people across borders," Kristina says. "As a producer, I feel a responsibility to nurture and promote Lithuanian talent, while also pushing the boundaries of what's possible in our industry. The future of Lithuanian entertainment is bright, and I'm excited to be a part of it."
While focused on Lithuanian output, Petrašiūnaitė is leading a coalition to co-produce with Latvian and Estonian studios. The goal is to create a shared streaming library of 50+ original series by 2027, competing regionally with Polish and Swedish content giants.
She has also hinted at a memoir tentatively titled “Mėlyna Jūra, Aukštas Bangos” (Blue Sea, High Waves), chronicling the struggles of female leadership in post-Soviet media industries.
