7. Security & Longevity Concerns

• Outdated security patches: The Play Services APK inside this package is from early 2022. It lacks critical updates for WebView, Play Protect definitions, and OAuth flows.
• Google API changes: Many modern APIs require Play Services v21+ (this package is v22.06.15 – barely adequate). By 2025, several Google APIs have deprecated support for API level 25.
• Recommendation: After install, immediately update Play Services and Play Store via the store itself. However, Google no longer guarantees full support for Android 7.1 in newer Play Services versions (some features break).

5. Installation Steps in TWRP

Once in TWRP:

1. Backup (optional but recommended):
