The "Brim" Problem
The manual suggests using a Brim for bed adhesion. If your prints are warping (corners lifting), increase the brim width in your slicer to 8mm or more. The X-Pro has a heated bed, but the aluminum build plate cools quickly; a wider brim holds those edges down. QIDI X-Pro 3D Printer (assembled) Quick start guide

2. Understanding the LCD Interface
The QIDI X-Pro utilizes a full-color touchscreen. The manual provides a diagram of the icons, but here is how you will actually use them:
- Prepare Menu: This is where you manually move the axes. Use this to pre-heat your nozzle before loading filament.
- Control Menu: This allows you to adjust fan speeds and temperatures on the fly.
- Print from SD: The X-Pro supports SD cards and USB. The manual recommends slicing files to
.gcodeformat on the SD card for the most stable connection.
6. Printing Your First Object
- Prepare G-code: Use QIDI Slicer (based on Cura) or PrusaSlicer. Select “QIDI X-Pro” as your printer profile.
- Transfer file: Copy the
.gcodefile to the SD card. - Insert SD card into the slot on the front panel.
- Select file: Touch
Print > SD Card > [Your File]. - Monitor the first layer; adjust Z-offset live if needed (
Tune > Z-offset).
