Tenchu San Portable is the PSP port of Tenchu 3: Wrath of Heaven (originally PS2).
An official English version of Tenchu 3 exists on PS2, but the PSP version was released only in Japan.
Because of this, the fan translation scene has produced multiple patches over the years. Always check the current status of the patch before starting — some are partial, some are complete.
As of my knowledge cutoff (May 2025), the most reliable patch is the one released by the "Tenchu San Portable Translation Project" (v1.0 or later), which translates menus, mission briefings, in-game text, and cutscene subtitles. Tenchu San Portable Psp English Patch

Tenchu: San Portable is a PSP port of a Japan-only title in the Tenchu stealth-action series. Because no official English localization was released, fan translators created an English patch to make the game accessible to non-Japanese speakers.
