Tomb Raider Android APK + OBB: Complete Guide
The Tomb Raider franchise, originally launched in 1996, saw a critically acclaimed reboot in 2013. In 2015, Feral Interactive ported this version to Android. However, installing the game is not as simple as downloading a single .apk file — due to its large size and high-quality assets, it requires both an APK (application package) and an OBB (opaque binary blob) file.
Step 6: Launch the Game
Now, go back to your app drawer and launch Tomb Raider.
- The first launch will take 30–60 seconds as it verifies the OBB.
- If you see the loading screen with Lara’s face, you have successfully installed the Tomb Raider Android APK OBB correctly.
1. The Google Play Store (Check your Library)
If you bought the game years ago, go to Play Store > Manage Apps & Devices > Manage > Not Installed. Scroll down. If it appears, you can reinstall it officially.
Step-by-Step Installation
-
Download both files
com.feralinteractive.tombraider.apkmain.123456.com.feralinteractive.tombraider.obb(filename may vary)
-
Install the APK
- Enable Unknown Sources: Settings → Security → Unknown sources (ON)
- Tap the APK and install, but do not open the game yet.
-
Place the OBB file
- Use a file manager (e.g., ZArchiver, CX File Explorer)
- Copy the OBB file to:
Android/obb/com.feralinteractive.tombraider/ - If the folder doesn’t exist, create it exactly as named.
-
Launch the game
- Open Tomb Raider from your app drawer. It will verify the OBB and then start.
✅ The game will show a “Downloading content” screen only once if OBB placement is correct.
Step 4 – Copy the OBB
- Extract the downloaded OBB zip/rar to get that
com.xxx...folder. - Move the entire
com.xxx...folder intoAndroid/obb/.
