2. The Ransomware: It begins encrypting files with extensions like .docx, .pdf, .jpg, and .xlsx. It will drop a README.txt or HOW_TO_DECRYPT.txt file demanding Bitcoin payment.
3. The Botnet Client: The PC becomes part of a DDoS botnet or a proxy network, using your bandwidth for criminal activity without your knowledge.
