ಇದು ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಉದ್ದದ ಕಥೆ. ಅತ್ತಿಗೆ ತನ್ನ ಮಾವನ ಮನೆಗೆ ಹೋಗುವಾಗ, "ನಾನು ಅವರ ಎದುರು ತುಂಬಾ ಗೌರವವಾಗಿ ನಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು" ಎಂದು ತೀರ್ಮಾನಿಸಿದಳು. ಆದರೆ ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಕೋತಿ ಗುಂಪು ಬಂತು. ಕೋತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಹೆದರಿಸಲು ಅವಳು ಒದ್ದಾಡಿದಳು. ಆ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವಳ ಪಲ್ಲು ಜಾರಿ, ಸೀರೆ ವಕ್ರವಾಯಿತು. ಅದೇ ಸಮಯಕ್ಕೆ ಮಾವ ಬಂದರು. ಅತ್ತಿಗೆ ತುಂಬಾ ತುಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾ, "ನನಗೇನೂ ಆಗಿಲ್ಲ, ನಾನು ಹೊಸ ನೃತ್ಯ ಕಲಿಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆ" ಎಂದಳು. ಮಾವ ನಕ್ಕು ಒಳಗೆ ಹೋದರು.
